The best thing about our senior portraits is that I encourage you to come along and get your photos done with your friends. It really helps lighten the mood and it makes it more fun for everyone. Tim, who is one of my senior reps, brought along his girlfriend, Kailee, and friend, Ashley, and they all did their senior portraits together over at the Burchfield Penny Art Center in West Seneca.

I think we have been going through business names like water these days. First was Michael Alan Photography way back in 2005. Last year, I felt bad that Becky was playing such a big role in the business yet wasn’t getting the recognition she deserved so we switched things to Paramour Photography back in 2009.
Becky is about 14 weeks pregnant with our second child so we both agreed that it will be best for her to focus on being the best mom she can be to our children and I will fly solo with the photography… Shooting a wedding has become way too taxing on her so she will be sitting on the sidelines for now. I do have a couple amazing second shooters to take Becky’s place for the rest of the 2010 wedding season so no worries there.
So I present to you the final re-branding of our business — Michael Alan Bielat. Same great service. same great photos.

Senior portraits are always a great time for me.
I just got done with Jordan’s Senior Portraits and I just had to throw a pic online to show you all real quick. This was shot over at the which is an amazing place to have pictures taken.

It was a cold and windy day for a portrait session but it didn’t phase Nicole any. Take a look:
We have these crazy new grungy graphic designs that we have been playing with and Nicole just loved what we came up with. These are great because you can purchase a couple of these collages to have on your walls with your favorite images as opposed to having to spend a ton of money getting a single print of each. I photographed this high school senior yesterday and she did a wonderful job. I am not sure exactly what’s in the water these days but every senior that I have had the privilege of photographing are just amazing in front of the camera. Total model material. We did this shoot in East Aurora where we started off at Taste Coffee Shop. There is a really cool wall mural in a nearby alley that we rocked out. From there, we ventured off to Knox Farm and then finished off in the late hours of the night shooting around the streets of East Aurora.
